New Fall Schedules!

Our Worship Service begins at 10:45am and all are welcome! We have a Nursery available on Sunday mornings plus we have a Children's Sermon during the Worship Service and followed by a special Children's Worship time for children 8 years old and younger. We want to invite the Community to join us for all events each week! Invite your friends!

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings beginning September 12th, 2010. Classes resume for all ages. Pre-school- Grade 2 will be taught by Heather, Grade 3-5 will be taught by Dave Sampson. The Book of Numbers and Deuteronomy are next on their list. New registration forms will be available soon.

Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website. I hope that as you navigate through these pages you are able to get a sense of who we are and what we believe. But more than that, I hope you will also see something of who our God is and how He sees us. “Two things I have heard,” writes David, “that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O God, are loving.” (Psalm 62:11-12). God is the Almighty – nothing is impossible for Him. He is the God of heaven and earth, who has made us and through the work of His Son Jesus Christ we are saved!

And He looks at us with love. We are the apple of His eye. We are His beloved. Centuries ago a pastor said, “The soul is a precious thing.” Here at Church in the Canyon we believe that. The Almighty loves us, therefore we are unbelievably valuable. We invite you to come and join us in learning about the greatness of the God who loves people – and may our souls rejoice before Him together!

In Christian Love,
Bob Bjerkaas,
Pastor
