The Women's Ministry for Church in the Canyon, LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship and Teaching) meet monthly for Bible Study and Breakfast with the emphasis our activities, both at that time and ongoing during the month , are in Bible Study, Fellowship and Outreach/Mission to our community.

From our study on Prayer "When God's People Pray" in October 09' may we consider how are we are approaching God as we face the challenges of our lives:
- To what extent are we drawn to God, eagerly praying and anticipating His blessing?
- To what extent do we try to face challenges on our own, without God's help? What is the result?
- To what extent are we confident that God will keep his promises and meet our needs when we call on Him?
Sisters, God loves you deeply and longs to be in relationship with you. His blessings are tangible and life-changing and He makes those blessings available to everyone who call on Him. Starting today, call on God with your whole heart! Tell Him your needs, desire, hopes, and dreams. Pour out your heart before Him and invite Him into your life situation." Memorize Philippians 4:6-7

- Monthly Breakfast Fellowship and Bible Study, generally held in the Fellowship Hall of our church campus from 9:00 to 10:30 am on the 4th Saturday of each month. All are encouraged to join us!
- Sewing and Needlework fellowship at the home of one of our church members in Calabasas. Contact the church office for more information.
- Christmas LIFT Event! December 18th we will be meeting at the home of Kathleen Brooks . The evening will include an appetizer dinner pot-luck, cookie exchange, White Elephant Gift exchange fun and a special DIAPER Roundup for RAIN Home for needy families! We will be creating special memories singing around the piano and drinking hot chocolate at the fireplace! We want 100% of you to be with us! Girlfriend Time!! More info coming soon!
- Ongoing Women's Bible Studies held in homes.
- April 24th we will have a special luncheon, tour and time together and with Joni Eareckson Tada at Joni and Friends in Agoura Hills. This will be a very special opportunity!
- LIFT Spring Women's Retreat: TBA!
- Women of Faith Seminar: September 10-11, 2010. We have 19 spaces left to be spoken for! If you want reserve your spot by contacting the LIFT Steering Committee or the church office and we'll get you a registration form ASAP! No monies required at this time to reserve your spot but will be due in May or June. It was a BLAST in September 2009 and we don't want you to miss out! If you put back $10 a month you too can go have a priceless time with Sisters and watch all the Lord can teach us in 2 days! Fun and amazing!!
- Special Events 2009: Garden of the Worlds tour and lunch, RAIN tour and breakfast at Mimis
- Special Projects 2009: Soles for Souls co-project with our Sunday School classes, our special relationship with the RAIN home in Camarillo.
