Service Specifics

Our Sunday worship service starts at 10:45am and Sunday school classes for all ages take place just prior to that from 9:30am until 10:15 am during the school year.

Cry room for infants and restless young children is in the Fellowship Hall behind the sanctuary.  You may listen to the sermon and music there.

Our worship service is biblically based, with gospel centered preaching and a mix of contemporary music and traditional hymns.

Services generally last about an hour and fifteen minutes and light refreshments are served in the kitchen area after the worship service.

We celebrate communion the first Sunday of the month and we invite you, as our guest, to join us in the Fellowship Hall located behind the church building for our monthly fellowship luncheon. We would enjoy getting to know you during this time of fellowship.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I park?  We have ample on site parking.

Are you handicapped accessible?  Yes, we have several handicapped parking spaces located at both sides of the parking lot.   All of our buildings and grounds are wheelchair accessible.

Where is the main entrance to the church?  Our main entrance and lobby is at the front of the building, facing Las Virgenes Road.  In the lobby we have people who greet all who enter with a welcome and a bulletin with the order of worship, the words of the praise songs, the church calendar, and other helpful information.

Do you have a nursery?  Currently, we do not have a nursery but a cry room for you and your infant or restless young one in the Fellowship Hall.  The sermon may be heard there along with the music.

What kind of music do you sing in worship?  We sing the best of both old (even ancient!) and new worship music.  In every service we have both traditional hymns accompanied by a piano and contemporary praise songs accompanied by a praise band.

Should I bring my Bible?  Most of us bring our Bibles to church.  We also have Bibles for you to use that are located in the racks underneath our chairs in the sanctuary.  Our pastor reads and preaches from the English Standard Version (ESV).

Do people dress formally?  Yes and no.  On any given Sunday, there will be a wide variety of dress ‘codes’ present.  There will be everything from suits to jeans and wingtips to sandals.
